Senior CAD PDK Engineer – Cambridge

Our long-established Semiconductor client is recruiting for a Senior CAD PDK Engineer to join their Cambridge design team.

Our client’s advanced ICs power smarter electronics by minimizing energy waste—helping reduce carbon emissions and drive a more sustainable future. They seek an experienced CAD PDK Engineer to provide full support for all IC design CAD tools such as Cadence schematic entry, mixed mode circuit simulation, layout design, and logic synthesis. The Senior CAD PDK Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining PDKs (Process Design Kits) as well as SKILL code development and developing custom Mentor Calibre DRC/LVS/xRC runsets.

Suitable Candidates Will Have

• A University degree (BSc / MSc / PhD) within Electrical Engineering or related field
• Extensive work experience within industry, within solid experience within PDK and PCELLs development
• A strong understanding of Caliber LVS, DRC tools for physical verification
• A good understanding of the Semiconductor Process Flow
• Perl / Python programming skills
