Description

The Senior buyer will be responsible for;

• Procure materials and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Implement purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process efficiencies.
• Carry out continuous supplier performance review to ensure contract compliance.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new procurement opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain good communications.
• Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
• Oversee staff training and development in the Procurement & Supply Chain department.

Profile

A successful Senior Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in a similar Senior Buyer role within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability with a good understanding of Procurement & Supply Chain management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle pressure.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
