The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include:
- To provide an excellent standard of service to our patients and support the administration team in all operational aspects of the core primary care business
- To provide administrative/secretarial support to clinical teams/support services within standard administrative procedures
- To contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team
- To induct and supervise less experienced staff

Qualifications And Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL
- ‘A’ Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning
- Demonstrable experience within A&C field at Advanced level
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work
- Knowledge and experience of IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of using Trust IT System ESR, SystmOne

- Able to plan and prioritise effectively
- A team player
- Able to demonstrate inter-personal communication skills
- Experience in Primary Care
