Description Are you an experienced and driven professional looking to take the next step in your career? Join us as an Accounts Senior in Northallerton, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and fostering the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities Ensuring day-to-day client files are completed correctly and within set timeframes and requirements.
Supporting junior team members with questions and queries to ensure accurate work is produced.
Delivering client work of the highest standards and ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
Ensuring the correct client documentation is received in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines.
Handling client requests and queries in a manner that promotes client loyalty.
Recording own chargeable time and ensuring all billable hours can be recovered.
Preparing client paperwork (Accounts, tax, PAYE, VAT) within allocated deadlines for timely submission to HMRC.
Planning own workload to ensure deadlines are met and work is ready for sign-off.
Key Requirements The role requires a quality-focused individual who is dedicated to developing their knowledge and experience.
ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards.
Requirements
Additional Requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Dependable and reliable team player.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient in using cloud accounting software, preferably Xero, and accounting support software.
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
