SEN Teacher

Cert Solutions are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join a fantastic school in Sutton Coldfield on a full-time, long-term basis after the February half-term.

About the Role:

• Teaching and supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including PMLD, SLD and Speech & Language difficulties.
• Delivering engaging, adapted, and inclusive lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support each child’s development.
• Using alternative communication methods such as Makaton, PECS, or sensory-based approaches.
• Managing behaviour positively and promoting a safe, nurturing learning environment.
  
  

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.

Experience teaching in an SEN setting, ideally with primary-aged children.

A creative, adaptable, and child-centered teaching approach.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
