This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in inclusive education and a track record of supporting students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create and adapt lesson plans that accommodate individual learning styles.
• Implement EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) and track student progress through regular assessments.
• Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to students' development.
• Deliver interventions to help students access the curriculum effectively.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and best practices in inclusive education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• A relevant qualification in education or SEN (e.g. , Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, PGCE, or similar).
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to challenges.
