Job Title: SEN Maths Teacher
Location: Bexley, Croydon, Lewisham, Greenwich, Lambeth, Bromley, Southwark
Salary: Salary: £145 to £230 per day (dependent on experience)
GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate SEN Maths Teacher to work across Bexley, Croydon, Lewisham, Greenwich, Lambeth, Bromley, and Southwark. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for teaching Maths to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a supportive and dedicated environment. Prior experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for teaching Maths to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a supportive and dedicated environment. Prior experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with a range of SEN, including those with moderate learning difficulties and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Develop individualised learning plans for students to ensure progress and confidence in Maths.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
- Provide both one-to-one and small group support in Maths to students, encouraging their academic development.
- Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching Maths in an SEN or SEMH setting is preferable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students with varying needs.
- A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach when working with vulnerable children.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teaching staff and professionals.
- Competitive daily rates of £90 to £110, depending on your experience.
