We are currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to join the Quality Control (QC) team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to support the QC department, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:

We are currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to join the Quality Control (QC) team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to support the QC department, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
- The monitoring and controlling of temperature units within highly regulated laboratories.
- To liaise and work with Equipment Engineering team and external engineers to organize equipment servicing and equipment repair
- Provide support for equipment maintenance including equipment files and service contracts.
- To clean and maintain the laboratory equipment and facilities.
- To operate an autoclave and dispose of waste materials.
- Support the ASG pipette clinic including cleaning and preparing pipettes.
- Oversee, maintain, and ensure quality of key stock consumables.
- Completing of Quality Records
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent qualification level or able to demonstrate required skills gained within another workplace.
- A genuine interest and drive to work in science.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organised and motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook.
