School Nursing Healthcare Support Worker
Connect for Health
Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Stratford-upon-Avon
Contract type: Full time

About The Role
If you believe in showing up for others this is your place.
We’re looking for a School Nursing Healthcare Support Worker to join our Connect for Health team in Warwickshire - a school nurse-led service supporting children, young people and families to live healthier, happier lives.
You’ll work directly in schools and communities, delivering vital parts of the Healthy Child Programme, including the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and Health Needs Assessments (HNA). From running classroom sessions to supporting community events, you’ll help young people understand their health, feel heard and stay safe.
You’ll support the Health Champion network, promote health messages, respond to day-to-day enquiries and use IT systems confidently to collect accurate data. Whether working alone or as part of a supportive team, you’ll play a key role in shaping better health outcomes.
You must hold a full driving licence, have access to your own transport and be able to travel across Warwickshire. This role is term time only, meaning you’ll work Warwickshire school terms, taking leave during school holidays. Your working days will be Monday to Thursday.
This is a service that believes in people. We’ll invest in your development, support your wellbeing and make sure you feel part of something bigger.
Apply now and be the reason a child or young person gets the right start.
About You
Are you someone who brings warmth, care and purpose to everything you do? Do you want your work to reflect your values and make a difference for children every day?
You’ll be someone who is calm under pressure, naturally empathetic and confident working with children, families and professionals. Whether you are delivering a session in a school hall or chatting one to one with a pupil, you know how to listen, how to engage and how to make young people feel safe.
To join us, you will need:
Bring your values, your voice, and your commitment to a team that puts people first.
About Us

Established for over 30 years, Compass is a national charity which works in communities across the UK providing services spanning substance misuse treatment and rehabilitation, early interventions for vulnerable young people, school-aged health programmes and associated prevention as well as treatment and health promotion initiatives.

We positively encourage applications from all members of the community, regardless of gender, race, faith, disability, age, or sexual orientation, and encourage applications from people who have experiences in life which enrich skills and empathy.
