About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic SAP PS PPM Functional Consultant to join our Project Systems & Fixed Assets team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of our finance systems, with a specific focus on SAP S/4HANA. We are looking for individuals who understand industry standard finance processes and SAP standard features. You will help us understand business problems and identify the optimal approach to satisfying their demands using standard SAP as much as possible.
The Project Systems & Fixed Assets team interacts with our finance department and operational business departments. The ability to understand and manage multiple stakeholders is essential. The successful candidate will have experience in the integration of non-SAP systems with SAP S/4HANA to enable robust business processes.
We are looking for a self-sufficient consultant who has a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Finance System:
A competitive salary between £52,972 – £60,144 – dependent on capability
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.

What You'll Do
Finance System:
- Use finance expertise to align SAP solutions with business objectives and financial reporting requirements.
- Translate problem statements and business requirements into clear, simple standard SAP solutions.
- Use standard SAP to underpin industry standard and best practice business processes.
- Lead and execute SAP PS PPM configuration and customization projects within the Project Systems and Fixed Assets team.
- Maintain a 'Project Systems Roadmap' alongside our product owners and partners. Work towards processes and improvements that deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in financial processes and systems and deliver innovative solutions.
- Maintain functional and technical documentation in-line with documentation best practice.
- Oversee work being proposed and/or delivered by implementation partners.
- Enhance integration between Project Systems and Fixed Assets and other SAP modules for seamless end-to-end financial processes.
- Actively identify areas for improvement, driving initiatives to optimize processes and maximize the organization's investment in the S/4HANA platform.
- A deep understanding of finance systems, particularly SAP PS PPM, and contribute to the simplification and improvement of Project Systems and Fixed Assets processes.
- Preferred candidates would have SAP PS PPM certifications.
- Integrating S/4HANA finance processes with non-SAP systems (connected apps) via SAP PO.
- Candidates with knowledge of SAP BTP would be attractive. Particularly Integration Suite, Datasphere and SAC.
- Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred, with the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile environment.
- Consultants with experience in SAP FI-CO or RE-FX will be highly attractive, enabling cross-functional collaboration within the finance department.
- Demonstrate strong debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Project Systems and Fixed Assets processes.
- Be part of a dynamic finance department within a large organization, contributing to the evolution of financial systems and processes.
