The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, customization, and support of Salesforce solutions within ProPharma’s environment. This includes working with Salesforce SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and HealthCloud, as well as managing integrations, encryption, and environments aligned with regulated industry standards (including GxP). This also includes demonstrating exceptional communication skills and attention to detail while supporting internal stakeholders through efficient, compliant, and scalable solutions.

The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, customization, and support of Salesforce solutions within ProPharma’s environment. This includes working with Salesforce SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and HealthCloud, as well as managing integrations, encryption, and environments aligned with regulated industry standards (including GxP). This also includes demonstrating exceptional communication skills and attention to detail while supporting internal stakeholders through efficient, compliant, and scalable solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into Salesforce-based solutions, leveraging best practices and platform capabilities.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and HealthCloud to optimize and enhance platform functionalities.
- Implement and maintain secure Salesforce solutions, including platform encryption and field-level security, in accordance with GxP and regulatory guidelines.
- Document functional requirements derived from business needs and design specifications.
- Oversee multiple, segregated Salesforce builds that share infrastructure, ensuring changes made to one build does not negatively impact another.
- Utilize/manage multiple sandboxes for development, validation, and testing, ensuring smooth deployment and version control.
- Establish deployment plans and work with technical teams to deploy and configure solutions.
- Provide user support, including configuration changes, data imports and exports, custom / ad hoc requests, troubleshooting issues and resolution issues. Serve as a “trusted advisor” providing analysis, guidance and design of processes, people, and technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in application solutions.
- Assess and evaluate risk as required.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, development, and limitations, and the ability to develop custom coding solution to address those limitations.
- Experience working in regulated environments with knowledge of GxP practices (required).
- Experience working in environments with multiple segregated builds that share infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with Smart Field History Tracker (advantageous).
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and familiarity with DevOps principles.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, HealthCloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining Salesforce SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and HealthCloud.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and custom connectors.
- Proven track record of implementing secure and scalable Salesforce solutions.
