As a Sales Trainer, you’ll play a central role in enabling our Enrolment & Retention Advisors to succeed—equipping them with the skills, tools, and mindset needed to convert student enquiries into enrolments and support long-term retention.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and deliver high-impact sales training across induction, onboarding, ongoing development, compliance, and coaching
- Build engaging B2C sales programmes (needs discovery, objection handling, value-led selling, ethical course recommendations)
- Work hands-on with teams — coaching side-by-side, running sales huddles, workshops, and performance labs
- Create and own learning content, including LMS-ready digital modules, playbooks, scripts, and job aids
- Develop coaching and management capability, helping leaders become effective coaches
- Use performance data to continuously improve training impact and sales results
- Partner closely with operational leaders, HR, and cross-site teams to drive consistency and performance uplift
- Help establish St Albans as our Training Academy, supporting learning across St Albans and Brighton
Key Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Experience delivering face-to-face sales training in a Contact Centre/B2C environment
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills; able to engage teams and uplift capability
- Skilled in creating training content and capability frameworks
- Able to analyse performance data to drive training interventions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Outcome-focused and motivated to help others succeed
Desirable
- Experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or course-selling
- Training managers in coaching methodology
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms or ATS-aligned course design
- Relevant training qualifications (CIPD, LPI, C&G)
