As a Sales Team Manager, you’ll be the driving force in ensuring that both you and the sales team create as many genuine sales opportunities as possible and manage them to a successful conclusion to achieve our sales targets.


About the role:


  • Sales planning - responsible for maintaining a strong knowledge of the HR and Recruitment industries, market trends, and competitors. Identifying emerging markets and potential customers. Developing highly professional presentation material and demonstrations. Ensuring consistent pipeline growth and maturation.
  • Sales development - build relationships at all levels, invoke discussions with prospective customers, understand their needs, influence decisions, lead negotiations, achieve sales activity metrics and targets, provide high quality MI to the business regarding sales performance and develop comprehensive sales forecasts.
  • Sales management - Ensure that all sales team members are fully prepared in going to market, including product knowledge, sales plans, sales methodology and sales skills. Manage, coach, develop and motivate the sales team so that sales targets and other outcomes required are achieved.
  • People leadership - You’ll be a good leader by demonstrating our people leaders principles, including being the best version of yourself, enabling the best outcomes, getting the best out of everyone, and demonstrating our values.


The must haves:


  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS/ B2B business, preferably in the HR / Recruitment sector.
  • You’ll be driven to succeed
  • Previous experience of managing and coaching a sales team
  • Good commercial understanding as well as sales principles, techniques, and best practices, with the ability to drive results in a competitive market.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A customer-centric and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • A self-starter attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong negotiation skills for reaching mutually beneficial agreements with potential customers.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively to handle multiple deals and people simultaneously.
