Job Vacancy: Sales Manager (Field:Based)

This is a home/field:based role, covering Cambridge, Sussex, Northampton, Bedforshire and London
Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by managing existing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities within your assigned territory. You will play a key role in expanding our product reach and ensuring customer satisfaction from quote to cash. This role offers a 50/50 split between account management and new business development, with a significant potential turnover of GBP 8 million to GBP 10 million.
Key Responsibilities
: Develop and manage business relationships within the existing customer database, while proactively seeking new opportunities through prospecting, trade shows, demonstrations, and other initiatives.
: Promote and upsell additional company products and services, including service contracts, accessories, outrigger pads, and training.
: Work collaboratively with internal sales, admin, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
: Foster strong, long:term relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
: Drive the promotion of new products within the marketplace to increase visibility and sales.
: Input and manage customer data in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up:to:date records.
: Manage your diary effectively to optimise relationship:building and identify new business opportunities.
Key Competencies
: A strong, structured sales process with proven success in selling within the capital equipment industry (minimum of 3 years experience).
: Resilient and determined with a positive, optimistic attitude that contributes to business growth.
: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders.
: Ambitious and driven, with a clear focus on making an impact and achieving targets.
: Experienced in managing the tender process and completing tender submissions.
: Highly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of influencing decision:makers.
: Motivated by sales targets, with a strong drive to exceed expectations.
: Ability to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of customers.
Salary And Benefits
: Competitive salary of up to GBP 50,000, dependent on experience.
: Realistic commission structure with potential earnings of GBP 100,000 to GBP 120,000 (take:home).
: Company:provided tools for the job, including a car, laptop, and phone.
: Holiday allowance of 25 days plus statutory holidays
: Flexible company car options.

The role is contracted for 08:00:17:00, with flexibility required to accommodate the demands of a senior position.
