JOB TITLE: Field Sales Manager

LOCATION: Essex

SALARY: £60,000 basic (£90,000 OTE)

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

The COMPANY

Our client is a very well-established nationwide provider of business-critical services to thousands of organisations all over the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Field Sales Manager to oversee Field Sales Executives in the Southeast of the country.

The ROLE

The successful Field Sales Manager will be required to do the following:

• People management of a Field Sales team across a defined geographical area.
• To be responsible for all recruitment, inductions, and sales training for all members of the team.
• Total responsibility for a team of Field Sales Consultants and their on-going development and performance management.
• Ensure team members are skilful in the application of self-generated new business and closing appointments to increase sales.
• The Field Sales Manager will conduct a quarterly one-on-one review with all Field Sales Executives to ensure effective communication, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance
  
  

The CANDIDATE

Our client is looking for strong Regional Sales Managers with the following experience and attributes:

• Significant experience of leading a team of field salespeople in a business-to-business environment.
• Great leadership skills, always seeking to bring out the best in others.
• Proven ability to sell to different audiences including business owners, directors, and HR Managers.
• Demonstrative ability to drive and motivate team members to perform their jobs well and generates high employee morale and satisfaction.
• A complete understanding of the sales and business development process, strong commercial acumen, with experience and a proven track record in winning new business and retaining customers.
