PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The purpose of the Sales Executive is to drive sales growth by proactively engaging with customers or potential customers to offer an end-to-end sales experience.

Maintaining contact by regular touch points, with potential customers to nurture leads through to sale. Highlighting additional products or services throughout the process. The Sales Executive will engage with potential customers through cold and warm calling, to understand their needs, address any concerns, and highlight the premium nature of our Brands, as well as outlining the benefits of the company's products and services. By maintaining regular communication and building strong relationships, the Sales Executive will work to develop interest, overcome objections, and ultimately convert leads into satisfied customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that no sales opportunities are missed and that the company maximises its revenue potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products or services using scripts (as appropriate).
  • Converting warm customer enquiries into sales opportunities by providing an excellent first impression through effective customer engagement, empathy and effective listening skills.
  • Make outbound introductory calls to leads or potential prospective customers, establishing a rapport and gauging interest.
  • Collect and record relevant information, including their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Clearly explain and promote the company’s products or services, highlighting benefits and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Establish rapport to gain sufficient interest to progress the enquiry to the next step on the customer journey.
  • Schedule home appointments and showroom appointments for the customer with the relevant local franchisee.
  • Make pre-home appointment calls to recap and summarise on the choices made.
  • Liaise with the relevant franchisee to ensure they are prepared for the appointment, including which samples should be taken to the home appointment and briefing them accordingly.
  • Following up with the customer after the showroom or home appointment.
  • Make post home appointment sweeping calls if a sale was not closed of the day, to gain feedback, handle objections and convert to opportunities/sales.
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
  • Maintain regular contact with leads through calls, emails, and other communication channels to nurture relationships.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of lead engagement activities, including conversion rates and other key metrics.
  • Gather feedback from leads to improve the warm calling process and overall customer experience.
  • Report any noticeable trends to the management team to review.
  • Any other reasonable duty that falls within your capabilities.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven current sales experience essential, ideally via telephone.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting conversion KPIs.
  • Experience in upselling or cross-selling products and services to customers.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track performance.
  • B2C experience preferred.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and overcome objections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including strong listening skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers.
  • Strong organisational skills.
