Thanks to our hard-work and continuous success, Lookers Mercedes-Benz of Eastbourne is expanding its’ sales team and is currently recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our enthusiastic and friendly team on site. As a Sales Executive here at Mercedes-Benz, you will be specialising in both New and Used car sales, focusing on providing world class customer motoring experience! You will work alongside our established passionate sales team of 7 Executives to ensure our Customers’ always get the best service.

Joining our hard-working sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills which will allow you to build rapport with colleagues and customers. Ben, our General Sales Manager and his team will play a key part in your success, through on-going training and support, regular 1-to-1’s and in-house Sales training. All of this will help to strengthen your knowledge and experience, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.

Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers wants and needs

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person ensuring you create a welcoming environment at all times
  • Communicating effectively with customers and listening intently to their wants and needs, in order to suggest suitable vehicles that match their requirements
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
  • Liaising with all the relevant departments throughout the whole sales process to ensure an efficient and smooth transaction


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to crack on with the job and passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.

Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the look-out for new/fresh talent to join our team. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
