How The Role Will Make An Impact

To lead and drive organic growth within the OEM RTM through creation and execution of sales strategies and plans that align to the overall strategic plan and targets. Developing, targeting and coaching the sales team to achieve the performance and expectations set out in the sales plan.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day leadership and strategic direction for the hardware division, to

grow share, focused on the OEM RTM.

  • Creates an efficient and effective go to market process whereby the customer journey

is optimised and relevant stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the customer delivery.

  • Development and execution of RTM sales plan which is aligned to deliver/exceed
  • organic growth and objectives set out in the international hardware strategic roadmap.
  • Development and execution of key account strategies that link customer account

needs, product and service proposition to drive retention and growth.

  • Sets realistic stretch targets to drive performance throughout the sales organisation

and holds stakeholders to account in the support and delivery of sales plans and

execution.

  • Optimises price and tender management to generate sustainable margins. Ensures that

increases in input costs are recovered to maintain margin performance.

  • Provides direction and input to the strategic planning process and regular

ongoing reporting cycles, including monthly performance reviews, budgeting and

forecasting and relevant risk/auditing topics.

  • Develops, motivates and nurtures a high calibre team. Understands ‘what good looks

like’ and creates an environment in which we always seek to recruit and retain the best

talent and ensure team members achieve their potential.

  • Encourages commercial continuous improvement within the customer journey to strive

for service excellence, engender retention with customers and drive growth.

  • Builds strong relationships with customers. Champions the customer within the

business ensuring customer needs are understood and met/exceeded.

  • Provides strong commercial oversight in supporting NPD and procurement activities to

aid successful delivery of products and launches.

  • Works collaboratively with other teams across the business to ensure actions,

processes and behaviours are aligned to the customer journey and improving

performance to secure growth.
