Commercial Sales Team:

Responsible for spearheading expansion of new business sales for Fundpath. The team manages the entire prospective client engagement process, from initial outreach to point of sale. Upon securing a new client, the relationship transitions to the Fundpath Customer Success team for ongoing management.

Job Summary:

Our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) are the first point of contact for the vast majority of our new business opportunities. You will be responsible for leveraging sales and marketing tools to research, prospect and qualify ideal client personas to set-up product demos for the Business Development Manager (BDM) team.

The role is key to the development of Fundpath’s UK commercial strategy. The SDR will work directly with the Sales and Account Management teams to support key business objectives.

What will you be doing:

  • Leverage leading-edge sales and marketing tools to research and identify potential B2B leads
  • Perform high volume outbound prospecting through email- campaigns, cold-calls, events and research tools such as LinkedIn or Salesforce
  • Log, track, and maintain outbound activity
  • Proactively set up meetings between qualified leads and the commercial team
  • Develop a strong understanding of Fundpath to provide high-level introduction to prospective clients
  • Connect with prospects through written and verbal communication
  • Work closely and regularly with BDMs to understand prospect needs, and for continued knowledge development
  • Prospect into accounts, searching for key points of contact
  • Strive for daily, weekly, and monthly demo goals, while providing excellent experience for prospective customers
  • Create outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Conduct market research to identify new leads
  • Support senior sales teams and BDMs on client product demos and presentations

What qualities are we looking for:

  • Previous sales experience is essential, investment management industry knowledge would be advantageous, but what matters most is drive, attitude, and a hunger to succeed.
  • A confident self-starter with a curious mindset and positive attitude
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Gifted communicator with great attention to detail (Excellent English written and verbal)
  • Highly collaborative, with a diligent and methodological approach to time management. Able to prioritise effectively
  • Comfortable using digital tools, especially LinkedIn, and CRM platforms
  • Open-minded, resilient and adaptable to change. Ability to reflect & learn from constructive feedback.

Place of Work:

Fundpath supports hybrid working. This is a client driven role, you will need to be flexible and work from the office as and when needed. You will typically be in the office Tuesday to Thursday and work from remotely on Monday and Friday.
