We are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative who is eager to contribute to making a difference to the construction industry. You will be an integral part of the Commercial function, employing proven processes to achieve success, within a structure that encourages progression to more senior roles. This opportunity has been created as a result of such succession.

Your team and your role
You’re a hungry and talented individual with a hunter commercial mindset who will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients in the construction sector, qualifying leads, and contributing to the ongoing growth of our sales pipeline.
You will partner with our Business Development Managers and Senior Account Executives to develop and implement Qflow’s new business strategies, you will help to drive continued revenue growth and market share. This role will involve not only prospecting but also helping to establish and maintain processes and best practices for sales development.
You’ll be working in our Commercial team, collaborating closely with Business Development, Senior Account Executives, Customer Success, and Marketing teams and reporting to the Growth Director. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Lead Generation
- Identify and research construction companies and decision-makers (e.g., project managers and directors, quality leads, innovation leads, finance leads) that align with our Ideal Customer Profile.
- Use outbound channels (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage prospects and generate interest.
- Maximise efficacy of our broad range of software tools for prospecting, contact enrichment, market intelligence and extensive data already existing in our CRM to ensure the highest calibre of prospect and the best rates of conversion
Lead Progression
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs and qualify leads based on predefined criteria
- Gather relevant information to ensure smooth handover to the Sales team
- Book sales meetings and online demonstrations with the Sales team
Create & Refine Outreach Processes
- Establish repeatable workflows for prospecting and qualifying leads
- Craft and optimise messaging sequences tailored to the construction industry
- Track what works (and what doesn’t) to build a scalable outbound sales playbook
CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting and outreach activity in the CRM system
- Track and report on KPIs, including outreach volume, lead conversions, and pipeline contribution
- Build and monitor dashboards, workflows, automation and reports to deliver a robust and reliable record-set for the Commercial Team to work from
Cross team collaboration
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to create and distribute valuable content that will help to accelerate sales and increase customer retention and value
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Qflow’s product offering meets customer needs & expectations
Industry Expertise
- Develop a strong understanding of the construction industry, including key trends, domain language and key topics, challenges, and stakeholders
- Stay informed on competitors and market conditions to tailor messaging effectively
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events as required.
Your skills
- Previous experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in B2B SaaS or the construction industry
- Growth mindset, hunger and curiosity with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth – critical for identifying great leads.
- Strong discovery / consulting skills – early pipeline qualification focus is on understanding the customers pain and exploring if/how Qflow can address it
- Strong persuasion skills – securing people’s commitment to time often requires the ability to navigate challenging conversations and handle objections effectively
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills – the ability to build empathy and trust quickly is essential
- Strong up-to-date CRM proficiency (preferably HubSpot) with the ability to deliver an excellent best practice standard for the business overall
Our offer
Basic salary of up to £40,000 (depending on experience) with uncapped OTE
