Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Executive to join their team.


Location: Hybrid- Harrogate, United Kingdom

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Role:

Trust Payments is seeking a Sales Development Executive to join our growing sales function. The role is based in our Harrogate office.


The Sales Development Executive will generate qualified leads, nurture prospects, and create a robust sales pipeline that supports the company's revenue objectives across our key verticals. This is achieved through ongoing outreach to designated target businesses, identified using our sales tools and CRM data, as well as strategic initiatives explored by the Head of Sales Development.


Upon identifying a qualified lead, established criteria will determine whether this is handed off to a BDM in real-time, a telephone appointment is scheduled, or a face-to-face appointment arranged for one of our Senior BDMs.


What We Expect of You, Day To Day:

  • Complete targeted outreach aligned with the company's strategic goals and key verticals via phone, email, and social media
  • Qualify inbound enquiries as appropriate
  • Schedule calls, meetings, and appointments with prospect agreement
  • Meet or exceed set targets/KPIs designed to drive expected levels of output, performance, and results
  • Conduct research on ICP and key contacts when required
  • Participate in ongoing training/coaching, product knowledge development, and complete mandatory learning modules in a timely manner

  • Results-focused approach with commitment to achieving targets
  • Resilience and persistence in challenging situations
  • Openness to learning and constructive feedback for continuous improvement
  • Professional communication skills for both internal and external interactions
  • Experience with outbound prospecting calls, particularly discussing payment services
