We're now looking for a Route Planner
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Responsibility for booking and route planning on behalf of the client and the customer optimising planning tools (Paragon and Sterling) ensuring that the vehicle also stays within legal contraints.
- Scheduling delivery routes to specified time scales
- Ensuring planning timely and efficient completion of multi-drop deliveries and transportation
- Working as part of a team environment
- To comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures
- Previous planning experience is desirable, however not essential
- Previous Paragon experience would be highly welcomed, however not essential
- IT Literate, with Microsoft office packages
- Operational Background within Supply Chain.
