Our client, a preeminent leader in the insurance sector, is seeking a seasoned professional to join their team as a Risk Manager. This pivotal role directly supports the company’s strategic direction by managing risks across the entire organisation, ensuring robust and efficient risk management practices.

- Lead the implementation and monitoring of the risk management program.
- Facilitate the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks impacting the business units across the enterprise.
- Enhance frameworks and processes for the second line of defence to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to embed a proactive risk-aware culture throughout the organisation.
- Stay abreast of emerging risks and trends in the insurance industry to guide the risk management policies and procedures accordingly.
- Manage a team of risk professionals, fostering an environment of learning and development.
- Proven expertise in Enterprise Risk Management and developing strategies for mitigating risks.
- Strong proficiency in the second line of defence operations within the insurance sector.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret large volumes of data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent leadership qualities and a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Adept at preparing detailed reports and presenting them to senior management.
- Knowledge of international risk management standards and regulations relevant to the insurance industry.
