This has created a fantastic opportunity for a talented Retail Sales Manager to join the sales team at our Lloyd BYD based in Blackpool.
BYD is renowned for their cutting-edge electric vehicle technology and commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. The ideal candidate will share our enthusiasm for innovation, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and be passionate about advancing sustainable transportation alternatives.
Salary: Basic salary with OTE £60,000
Hours: 45+ Hours per week
Role Responsibilities
Lloyd Motor Group is the largest privately owned prestige motor group in the North covering Cumbria, North Yorkshire, the North East, Lancashire and the South of Scotland. Our company prides itself on its professional yet personal approach in dealing with and supporting its Customers and Staff. Lloyd Motor Group now has 7 BMW & MINI Retail Centres, 5 modern Bodyshop’s, 4 Land Rover Retail Centres, as well as representing Volvo, Kia, Volkswagen, INEOS Grenadier and Honda motorcycles and BMW Motorrad.

Role Responsibilities
- To maximise profit in all areas of responsibility.
- To translate business strategy into operational plans for car sales.
- To develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including all cars, accessories, overheads and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets.
- To deliver results to meet and where possible exceed agreed budgets.
- To implement effective policies and procedures to maximise sales opportunities.
- To inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage all staff to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
- To ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.
- To work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service.
- To ensure full compliance to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services and products by all relevant staff.
- Commercial awareness and financial analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- IT literate with a full UK driving licence
- 30 days holiday a year (inclusive of Bank Holidays), plus an extra day off on your birthday.
