Purpose of the Job

The Retail Opening Co-Ordinator will work as part of our campaign team to ensure that new retail store briefs are managed from inception through to delivery / installation on time, against operational critical path milestones and financial business targets.

You'll need to demonstrate experience with schedule management, an understanding of 2D print production and have experience of managing projects and tracking spend.

In some instances, take responsibility to deliver the vision of the campaign for a New Store in parallel with the account strategies, on-time in-full (OTIF). Scheduling management experience in the instore retail environment is essential, along with a good commercial understanding.

  • This role will operate on a blended basis between our office in Wakefield or Manchester, our client's office and home

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in close collaboration with the client's central team, including daily upkeep of the New Store Tracker, updating weekly planners and attending weekly calls with the client team
  • Managing centralized campaign production for multiple European markets
  • Take briefs from the client, collating critical information from floor plans, planners and trackers and ensure all key requirements are translated into a brief for production ensuring critical dates are outlined in the Critical Path and WIP documentation
  • Project management of client briefs to the agreed critical path dates to deliver on time and in budget, ensuring escalation is actioned through the correct routes at the right time to keep the projects on track
  • Brief suppliers on requirements
  • Ensure activity is recorded using the designated company tools
  • Work with the wider team to ensure that the HH Global ways of working are followed
  • Manage and fulfil client expectations
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders always showing a ‘can do’ attitude

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Experience working within an operational role with a retail focus, including in-store marketing execution
  • Experience working in a client facing role
  • Numerate with a strong commercial understanding, able to manage job costings and the end-to-end financial process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to strict timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience of finding solutions
  • Works collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals
  • Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail across process and product, never accepting good enough
