A rare opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning luxury hotel Rhinefield House Hotel to take on the ownership of the Conservatory Restaurant and Lounge Bar as overall Manager. This stunning hotel is Kown locally as the 'Jewel in the Forest', Rhinefield House is an award-winning luxury hotel steeped in natural beauty, hidden deep within the New Forest National Park, with easy road access to both Bournemouth and Southampton makes the hotel assessable.
With its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views, The Conservatory Restaurant and lounge bar makes a lovely setting to enjoy lunch or dinner; whilst taking care to source ingredients from trusted local suppliers helps to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients, allowing them to take centre stage on the plate without any fuss or frills.
Rhinefield’s Lounge Bar is the perfect place to relax, to enjoy lunch or dinner from the Conservatory Kitchen; whilst in the summer, the terrace provides an ideal area to enjoy an alfresco lunch in the sunshine. The bar also offers a selection of beers, wines and cocktails from our extensive drinks list.
This role can be offered with the assistance of short term accommodation for relocation purpose.
About the role:
•The role of the Conservatory Restaurant and Lounge Bar Manager is to be responsible for ensuring that the departmental team consistently delivers exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
•You will be leading the team in the effective delivery of department goals, planning and organising work activities, seeking to continuously improve ways of working and engaging the team to do the same.
•Maintaining a safe, healthy and secure workplace environment, following all work protocols and engaging the team with training and upsell initiatives.
•Building effective relationships to create a positive learning environment will be a key requirement to ensure the success of the department and team.
•Making clear, confident decisions, will be second nature to you, consulting with others where needed ensuring you all reach the same goals.
•Being able to demonstrate a good understanding of business financials including labour costs, forecasting and budgets.
•Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Passionate Hand Picked Team.
About you:
•Previous restaurant and bar management experience working in a fast paced, quality driven restaurant or gastro pub with a high level of service and attention to detail is required.
•Experience in managing multi outlets within a hotel would be advantageous.
•It is essential you can demonstrate an excellent level of knowledge of both food and wine and enjoy keeping up to date with current trends.
•Proven experience of managing, coaching and developing teams, and you will enjoy motivating others to be their best, achieve their goals and full potential.
•Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.
•You will be excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.
•As the hotel is also popular with passing customers, this is a role that requires the ability to adapt to changes in business levels at short notice.
•Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
Our Benefits include:
•A competitive salary package of £38,000 to £40,000, plus a share of service charge and tips.
•This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
