We’re looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager who shares our passion for people, planet, and plate – someone who can inspire the team, delight our guests, and keep operations running smoothly from breakfast through last orders.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and motivating a passionate front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding guest experience – warm, relaxed, and memorable every time.
• Partnering closely with our Head Chef to champion seasonal, locally-sourced menus that tell the story of our region.
• Driving performance – from cost control and revenue forecasting to creative promotions and local partnerships that make a difference.
• Training, developing, and coaching your team to shine, ensuring a culture of pride, progress, and personality.
• Taking an active role in Duty Management and hotel leadership, contributing to the success of voco Zeal Exeter as a whole.
  
  

What we’re looking for

You’re a natural leader who thrives on people interaction and knows that great service starts with great teamwork. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in food & beverage or restaurant management (ideally in a hotel or premium casual setting)
• A head for numbers and an eye for detail – from labour control to stock management
• A calm, confident approach to leadership, communication, and guest engagement
• Passion for sustainability, local produce, and creating experiences that feel personal and planet-friendly
• A solid grasp of food hygiene, health & safety, and compliance standards
