Registered Veterinary Nurse – Join Our Friendly Haslemere Team!
We’re growing! Woodlands Veterinary Centre is expanding, and we’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our caring, close-knit team at our Haslemere branch.
If you love building relationships with clients and their pets, enjoy running your own nurse consultations, and want to be part of a genuinely supportive and cheerful team — we’d love to hear from you!
Your day will be filled with a mix of nurse consultations and hands-on nursing. You’ll see everything from puppy and kitten checks, weight clinics, post-op checks, and senior pet health monitoring to the usual nail clips and flea/worming appointments.
You’ll get to know our lovely local clients (and their equally lovely pets!) — from first vaccinations to golden oldies. There’s plenty of variety and the chance to develop nurse clinics in areas you’re passionate about, whether that’s nutrition, behaviour, dentistry, or feline care.
You’ll also support our vets with procedures and operations, helping ensure our patients receive gold-standard care from start to finish.
We’re based in the beautiful South Downs, surrounded by countryside but within easy reach of London and the coast — plus just an hour from Heathrow and Gatwick for those weekend getaways!
We also work closely with our local Cats Protection Adoption Centre, visiting weekly to help new arrivals with their health checks and treatments — so if you’re a feline fan, you’ll feel right at home.
We’re proud of our supportive, happy, and collaborative team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists — everyone looks out for each other, and laughter is part of every day here.
We nurture career growth and learning, with several certificate holders always ready to share knowledge and discuss interesting cases. Whatever your nursing passion — we’ll help you develop it.
