Registered Veterinary Nurse
Medivet
Date: 13 hours ago
City: Ashford
Contract type: Full time

We’re seeking an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with small animal practice experience who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of patient care to join our vibrant team at Medivet Evegate — an exotics-focused practice where experience with exotic species is highly desirable.
A well-equipped practice located in a picturesque and welcoming part of Kent, Evegate offers the perfect blend of rural charm and easy access to nearby towns and the beautiful Kent coastline. Whether you enjoy tranquil countryside walks, local markets, or quick trips to the coast, Evegate provides a fantastic work-life balance with plenty to explore outside of work.
You’ll be someone who works with empathy, shows initiative, and thrives in a dynamic hospital setting. You’ll share our core values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, demonstrating professionalism and a true passion for working together as one team to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
The ideal candidate is confident working as part of a busy team but also comfortable taking responsibility independently when needed. With a flexible and adaptable approach, you’ll be happy to jump in wherever required and will gain exposure to a wide variety of cases alongside experienced colleagues and certificate holders.
Given our practice’s focus, experience with exotic animals such as reptiles, birds, and small furries is a strong advantage. You'll have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in this area, working alongside a team experienced in exotic care as well as general small animal practice.
At Evegate, you will work in a modern, well-resourced practice with a supportive and friendly team. You’ll enjoy the unique lifestyle benefits of the Kent countryside and coast, with easy access to Canterbury, Folkestone, and other vibrant nearby towns. This is a busy, rewarding environment that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your veterinary nursing career and want to be part of a passionate team that truly values you, please get in touch for a friendly, informal conversation.
This is Maternity cover on a 12 Month FTC.
