Job Description
With a brilliant local reputation Newmarket Vets for Pets team has much to be proud of and we are now looking for an RVN to join our friendly team!
We are open to discussing work patterns (with weekends on a rota basis), with no out of hours.
You’ll be working with a brilliant and dedicated nursing team that’s made up of a Head RVN, Deputy RVN, 2 RVNs and an SVN, as well as a 5 Vet team. Our Practice Owner, Dr Iain Cope, is an RCVS recognized Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine. Iain also teaches nurses and veterinary surgeons and talks nationally and internationally.
Your working day will be filled with various cases, as we see a 50/50 split of small animals and exotics. We even carry out zoo visits, so this is a great and unique opportunity if your interest lies in this area! We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients and we also accept exotic referrals from other practices.
Our nurses are veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they are able to fulfil their clinical potential. We have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to lead and manage nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.
Our purpose-built in-store surgery is complete with high quality facilities and equipment including laser therapy, and is situated in a great location on the Studland Retail Park with ample parking and great access to local amenities. We’re easily accessible just off the A14 at junction 37.
