In this role you will lead and manage the regional sales team responsible for the east region of the UK. You will ensure the achievement of the annual sales targets.
- Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve and exceed annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Establish effective performance management systems, monitor team performance, and take corrective action when needed.
- Drive market penetration and business growth
- Develop and execute territory account plans aligned with national strategies.
- Identify and target new business opportunities using CRM tools and insights.
- Actively contribute to the development of product marketing strategies and sales initiatives.
- Work closely with the GM, marketing manager, and sales team to ensure seamless product introductions and marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Manage regional budgets and investment in line with business strategy.
- Gather and share market intelligence, including competitor insights, to guide strategic decisions.
- Attend relevant local, national, and international courses to stay updated on trends and developments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, particularly in the orthopaedic or CMF markets.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities with previous line management experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the NHS/private healthcare sector and account management principles.
- Advanced IT literacy and the ability to analyse account data for ROI-focused decision-making.
- High level of personal accountability, adaptability, and a solutions-focused mindset.
- In-depth understanding of orthopaedic trauma and fracture fixation products.
