We are seeking a driven and technically minded Regional Sales Manager to join our team, covering the North East of England. Description

A successful Regional Sales Manager/ Area Sales Manager will:

Develop and manage sales across a broad customer base including OEMs, System Integrators, Distributors, and Machine Builders.

Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships within key industries such as logistics, automotive, and food manufacturing.

Provide technical support and consultative sales expertise to customers, ensuring solutions are tailored to their operational needs.

Achieve and exceed regional sales targets through a mix of new business development and account management.

Work closely with internal teams to deliver customer projects from concept to completion.

Profile

A successful Regional Sales Manager/ Area Sales Manager should have:

Proven track record in technical sales within automation, engineering, or related industrial sectors.

Strong understanding of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing and account growth.

Comfortable selling to multiple customer types (OE, SI, distributors, machine builders).

Self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to manage your own territory.

Based in the North East with knowledge of the local customer landscape (Sunderland, Teesside, Newcastle and surrounding areas).

Desired Skills and Experience

Proven background in technical sales within automation, industrial technology, or engineering.
