This will be based across the North England and Scotland and will require lots of travel within and around these regions.

- Achieving and exceeding margin, ASP, value and volume sales targets
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the channel
- Motivational leadership of the team
- Managing the performance and development of the team
- Driving productivity of the team and KPI achievement
- Ensuring Company policies, procedures and controls are adhered to
- Keeping costs within budget
- Developing effective working relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Working closely and effectively alongside the other Trade Sales teams, Specification team, Marketing, Finance and other departments to deliver commercial objectives and targets
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and other key stakeholders
- A focused leader who is very customer & sales focused and naturally demonstrates strong team engagement who is able to lead change.
- Previous experience in a sales environment with Trade or B2B focus would be advantageous.
- Proven sales management success in a B2B or B2C environment.
- Proven leadership, people management and coaching skills.
- Financially astute and profit focussed.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Extremely customer focused and aware of customer needs.
- Industry and product knowledge.
