Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Regional HR Manager to join our team in the Equipment Management Network supporting the sites in the Northwest region (Gadbrook, Skelmersdale, Rochdale, Widnes, Haydock. You’ll support several our very busy, fast paced, Equipment Management sites, where it’s all about recycling and reuse within the Northwest of England, working with a variety of high-profile customers, supporting on everything HR.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. You can be based at any of the sites in the network in the Northwest region however, travel is needed to the other sites when required.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000.00 per annum plus a company car or car allowance of £450.00 per calendar month, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Provide HR guidance and support to our sites in the Northwest region on a range of people-related matters, from first line support to TUPE, redundancy and consultation processes
- Support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance improvement
- Conduct regular and in-depth site HR reviews, identifying and driving any areas of improvement
- Assist the sites in the development of our managerial colleagues in terms of their own understanding and ability to support their operations in ER cases
- A strong background in a similar HR position, preferably with exposure to an operational environment such as logistics, manufacturing or production
- Excellent working knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment law (if you have or are studying towards CIPD, this would be a bonus)
- The flexibility and ability to travel throughout the Northwest as well as occasionally further afield for meetings and events
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
