As NHS 24 are currently recruiting Clinical Supervisors to join our regional centres, and we are hosting 4 open sessions to allow you to find out more about these fantastic nursing career opportunities.

: The events will last approximately an hour and a half and will be an chance to find out more about the roles and our organisation. There will also be an opportunity to speak to existing members of staff and to ask any questions.

: These positions are open to anyone who is RGN Part 1 qualified.

Clinical Supervisor Band 6 Nurse Practitioner

Who are we looking for?

  • You will be registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register
  • You will possess excellent clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to provide continuous clinical supervision, engagement, and leadership remotely
  • Extensive post registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting, with a broad range of knowledge across a number of specialties
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-disciplined with excellent time management

Our Enhanced Salary Package

NHS 24 offers a total reward package, with a permanent contract on Band 6 £39,912 - £48,635* (pro rata for part-time hours). Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.

Competitive salary enhancements for working unsocial hours are in addition to the above basic starting salary of £39,912, this means that the following hourly rates would be applicable -

  • Basic Hourly Rate of £20.68
  • Saturday / After 8pm Weekday Hourly Rate of £31.03
  • Sunday / Public Holiday Hourly Rate of £41.37
  • Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service. NHS 24 shift patterns command an average uplift of 33% in addition to the basic salary shown. Dependent on individual shift patterns, this information is indicative only, and cannot be taken as guaranteed.
