We are looking for a Business Report Receptionist to join our team in Inverness.


Job Purpose:

To be the first point of contact for the office, delivering excellent customer service through proficient call handling and aiming to exceed customer expectations by ensuring they are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner, assessing customer needs and taking appropriate action.


The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Greeting clients and visitors entering the building
  • Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness
  • Answering the telephone in a timely and polite manner, screening and directing calls
  • Take and deliver messages accurately, completely and in a timely manner
  • Overseeing the Meeting Room booking procedure
  • Organising catering for meetings
  • Set up appointments as requested
  • Receiving clients' documents, books and records etc handed in to reception and distributing to recipients quickly
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to
  • Maintaining and updating the relevant spreadsheets and ensuring records are kept accurately
  • Support the business lines with the administration tasks


About You:

  • A leader of your work and your professional learning
  • Relevant experience in this or a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively both within a team and on their own initiative
  • Flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing demands.
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills are desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
