About The Role

As Lead Front-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing high-quality, customer-facing websites and applications using React, and mentoring a team of developers to deliver scalable and visually engaging digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of dynamic, responsive web applications using React
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to deliver visually engaging, user-focused products
- Champion best practices in front-end development and drive code quality through reviews and mentorship
- Establish technical standards, influence architecture, and guide strategic front-end decisions
- Work with back-end teams to define and consume APIs effectively
- Implement and promote a test-driven development approach across the team
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, especially React.js and Redux
- Proven experience in UI/UX development for scalable web applications
- Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, SASS/LESS, JSON, Bootstrap, jQuery, and XML
- Experience with source control systems (e.g., GitHub)
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, API architecture, and web standards
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) or behaviour-driven development (BDD) is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Up to 20% employer pension contributions
