R&D Production Engineer
SeAH Wind
Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Middlesbrough
Contract type: Full time

Are you ready to be part of the most significant opportunity unfolding right at your doorstep? Bid farewell to extensive travel and contract work as we invite you to join the groundbreaking developments in the field. Whether you seek a stable future or have a passion for Green Energy, this is your chance.
Why us? We will be the biggest XXXL Monopile factory in the world servicing the offshore wind industry.
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Junior Production Engineer to join our team at SeAH Wind. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their engineering career, or for someone looking to make a career switch into a more technical or production-focused role within a dynamic and growing industry. You’ll be involved in both client-facing technical communication and internal production development, helping us prepare clear, professional documentation for external stakeholders and supporting technical discussions with clients and consultants, particularly where Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is involved.
Internally, you’ll contribute to the continuous development of our production capabilities, working alongside a skilled team to ensure we’re prepared to meet the demands of current and future projects. We’re looking for someone with a background in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent relevant experience who understands FEA principles and can interpret results to support engineering decisions. Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll be collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, preparing reports, and contributing to discussions that shape our technical approach.
Whether you’ve recently completed a graduate programme, gained some experience through an industrial placement, or are looking to transition into a new area, we want to hear from you. Familiarity with tools like ANSYS, Abaqus, or SolidWorks Simulation is advantageous, as is experience with CAD systems and an interest in lean manufacturing or process improvement. In return, we’ll support your growth and development as part of an ambitious team working at the forefront of the offshore wind industry.
In return, we can offer an attractive base salary (Depending on experience and qualifications), 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, a 5% employer pension contribution and Medicash.
At SeAH Wind we are committed to developing a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Our aim is to build a workplace that attracts the most talented people and creates an environment that fosters courtesy and mutual respect.
All applications will receive equal consideration for employment regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expressions, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. We know that getting this right is crucial for us to live our values: Honest, Passionate and Professional.
Simply put, SeAH Wind value you whoever you are.
