Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting and enabling the quality processes and certification of the UK and European capability units initially across ISO9001/AS9100 and ISO27001, with future plans to expand into other standards. You will be working in an international team, with a global quality focus, and as such will be required to travel to support capability units across all our markets.
You will be taking a lead role in creating an internal audit plan and performing internal audits, managing documentation, and engaging with suppliers to ensure a cohesive and collaborative quality culture is maintained at Metrea. You will be responsible for all aspects of surveillance and recertification audits, and contribute to business improvement initiatives. You will perform initial contract review for requirements and compliance definition as well as development of an ongoing compliance management plan.

Role And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, deployment, and continuing sustainment and improvement of a robust Quality compliance environment that supports the Metrea business but could include Safety, Quality, Environmental and InfoSec content
- Responsible for the compliance and certification of applicable standards in UK and EU capability units
- Responsible for promoting a quality culture across the organisation
- Identify areas across the enterprise where improvements in process can be made
- Work with business leaders to attain ISO and other industry accreditation where it is required
- Responsible for the development of and maintaining a robust quality and compliance operation
- Be practical in identifying where improvements are necessary and where current practices are sufficient
- Assist the Head of Quality in a global approach to compliance
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality role, preferably in an industry with stringent compliance rules (defence, finance etc.)
- Strong background and experience as a auditor to include professional certification
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to interface and collaborate with all levels of leadership and be an active change agent
- In-depth knowledge of national industry regulations
- Understanding of business management principles
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, in particular Sharepoint and Teams
- Attention to detail
