We are now looking for a
Quality Manager
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Leicester, UK.
What You Will Be Doing
Quality Managers work in close co-operation with all business functions and coordinate their activities with other Quality Managers in ANCS applying high class quality proficiency skills to evaluate existing systems, methods, and processes, identifying new needs and enhancements, and ensuring compliance with relevant Quality Systems and regulations for products, sites, and production facilities.

We are now looking for a
Quality Manager
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Leicester, UK.
What You Will Be Doing
Quality Managers work in close co-operation with all business functions and coordinate their activities with other Quality Managers in ANCS applying high class quality proficiency skills to evaluate existing systems, methods, and processes, identifying new needs and enhancements, and ensuring compliance with relevant Quality Systems and regulations for products, sites, and production facilities.
As Quality Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Manage Product Quality issues for ANCS products and support their resolution (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Concessions, Quality Alerts)
- Support Engineering Compliance and Type Approval for current and new products (MED-D, Ex, Type Approvals etc.)
- Ensure compliance for 9001/14001/45001.
- Perform necessary EHS activities for the site (offices and assembly facilities).
- Perform internal, external, supplier, and customer audits when required.
- Data reporting of quality performance products and facilities and related risks.
- Ensure the creation and documentation of business processes.
- Create internal Declarations of Compliance, Authorisations to third parties.
- Supports supplier qualifications and tenders where quality information is required.
- Act as security officer (facility security) at local premises.
- Technical background (Mechanical, Electronic or similar)
- Ideally with an Engineering degree (industrial, production, electric, computer, or comparable).
- Certification as internal auditor
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar quality position.
- Ideally with product experience (specialisation in a specific ANCS product line).
- Experience with MED certifications for the marine industry or similar
- Strong analytical skills and experience of data analyse tools and software.
- Achieving results through strong and collaborative teamwork in multicultural environment.
- Proactive facilitator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and spoken in English. Other languages are considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of QHSE disciplines.
- Management system knowledge and implementation experience
