Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with expertise in exploratory testing for native mobile applications. As a key member of our fast-growing mobile squad, you will collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical products. You will be responsible for manual and exploratory testing, with opportunities to expand your knowledge in test automation. This role can be fully remote or hybrid (depending on location).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory and manual testing for native iOS and Android applications.
  • Test user stories and tasks within sprints to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
  • Perform regression testing to validate that new changes do not disrupt existing functionality.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Work closely with the development team to align testing activities with project timelines and business objectives.
  • Analyse test results and provide clear, concise reports on defects, testing progress, and product quality.
  • Contribute to quality assurance best practices, identifying areas for improvement in testing processes and automation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in manual and exploratory testing of native Android and iOS apps.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing for iOS using XCUITest with Swift (or willingness to learn).
  • Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with Git and version control processes.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and QA principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
