Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic, flexible and creative staff. You will be part of a multi-professional workforce that will significantly increase access to treatment for people with common mental health conditions, within a Primary Care setting.
You will be part of an NHS Talking Therapies service and will provide high intensity interventions - initially cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This will be delivered in person, via video conferencing and using group therapy.
You will work with clients who have a range of common mental health problems such as Anxiety and Depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

- To provide high intensity CBT interventions to patients with common mental health problems
- Keep up to date all records in relation to C.P.D. and ensure personaldevelopment plan maintains up to date specialist knowledge of latesttheoretical and service delivery models/developments.
- Participate in individual performance review and respond to agreedobjectives.
- Attend relevant conferences / workshops in line with identified professional objectives.
- Contribute to the development of best practice within the service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and procedures in relation to Mental Health and Primary Care Services.

- Post Graduate Diploma in CBT and eligibility for BABCP accreditation.
- Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services
- Full range of skills and competencies as laid out in the competence framework for CBT (Roth & Pilling 2007)
- A recorded/registered qualification in one of the following at Graduate level in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy or an equivalent level of training and experience under the BABCP KSA criteria.
