The Role

As a QA Engineer at Dines, you will be pivotal in ensuring our software platforms' reliability, scalability, and performance. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders will be instrumental in designing and implementing testing strategies. These strategies are about testing and upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional technology solutions. Your work will directly influence the quality of technology in the hospitality industry, giving our clients confidence in our products.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Collaborate with developers to achieve high test coverage.
  • Build and integrate CI/CD pipelines with robust testing.
  • Use diverse testing approaches, such as exploratory, black-box, and performance testing.
  • Continuously improve software stability.
  • Advocate for QA in the business.

What We're Looking For

  • QA & Automation Expertise – Skilled in test automation (Selenium, Playwright) with experience in CI/CD and API testing.
  • Technical Proficiency – Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms.
  • Detail-oriented & Proactive – Meticulous in testing, quick to identify issues, and driven to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Problem-solver with a Startup Mindset – Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, taking full ownership of QA processes.
  • Strong Communicator & Team Player – Collaborates effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Bonus: Experience with contract testing, serverless architectures, or monitoring tools.
  • Bonus: F&B experience is always beneficial at Dines.
