The Opportunity
As a Property Works Cost Manager, you will play a key role managing the financial analysis of property projects supporting business change within EDF UK. You will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, analysing property cost data and providing insightful financial advice to support the success of our projects.
Pay, Benefits And Culture

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the EDF Property Services commercial team, you’ll have a truly unique role in supporting the analysis of strategic business property decisions. By collating key data, facilitating multiple stakeholders, and running cost modelling to allow comparison of business change case options, you will be providing the information to support leaders in making key strategic decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the EDF Property Services commercial team, you’ll have a truly unique role in supporting the analysis of strategic business property decisions. By collating key data, facilitating multiple stakeholders, and running cost modelling to allow comparison of business change case options, you will be providing the information to support leaders in making key strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for property business change projects
- Manage and further develop cost models to support cost analysis
- Develop benchmarking to assist in setting accurate budgets
- Collaborate and coordinate key stakeholders such as architects, project managers and the wider property teams to ensure accurate financial analysis
- Support development of project stage gate packs
- Provide cost management support to a diverse range of projects across the UK, ranging from simple refurbishment to complex large multi-site projects
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ambitious and a positive mindset
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field is desirable but not essential
