As a Project Manager at BigSpark, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to manage project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to launch. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge and exceptional project management skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end project management of technical initiatives, including project scoping, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations, providing clear communication on progress and risks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure technical feasibility, adherence to best practices, and on-time delivery.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage project issues and drive them to resolution with a proactive approach.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Track and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with financial targets.
  • Agile Methodologies: Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and manage backlogs to ensure iterative progress on project deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards are met by coordinating testing phases, managing feedback loops, and overseeing final acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and performance reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical or software development projects. Previous experience in a contract or consultancy role is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Azure Cloud technologies, and modern development frameworks. Ability to translate technical requirements into project plans.
  • Certifications: PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in managing budgets, resources, and project timelines.
