PURPOSE

The Enterprise Information Security Office (EISO) is tasked with leading Information Security Management activities across SITA. The Cybersecurity Business Office (CBO) is responsible for the delivery of Program and Project Management activities. This includes SITA Enterprise wide engagement (Customer Service, Reporting and Communications). As a Project Manager you will drive a variety of project initiatives that meets the needs of our customer base. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with colleagues and customers located worldwide. Success in this role means you pay attention to detail be time sensitive possess influencing skills and enjoy working with others of diverse backgrounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the CBO Director, you will partner with the CISO, EISO managers, program/project managers, and business units within SITA, maintaining strong relationships with digital transformation teams impacted by CBO activities. You will manage delivery of projects under a defined roadmap of project commitments, managing the assigned projects and scheduling tasks, reviewing work packages, and communicating project progress with senior stakeholders.

This role offers a range of responsibilities and possibilities:

  • Managing projects - Project size will vary in scope and complexity. You manage the project throughout its life cycle - from inception through project closure. You manage change mitigate risks and deliver results to stakeholders and customers alike. Attention to detail effective time management and influencing people skills are key ingredients to be successful in managing projects.
  • Working with project teams - Every project is completed through team effort. You work effectively with team members that may be local or distant. You regularly track project activities against plan schedules and take corrective action on any deviations. You communicate to team members management stakeholders and customers regularly and frequently ensuring that there is continuous understanding and alignment regarding the projects progress.
  • Working with customers - You are committed to putting the customer first. As a result you proactively work with the customer and their teams to ensure that each project goal and objective is met with satisfaction.
  • Project Management administration - Your ability to write clearly and simply are key skills to documenting project activities. Documentation ranges from developing communications strategy plans designing resource and project plans providing status reports submitting and tracking change requests tracking risks and issues providing variance reports to providing Steering Committee reports and lessons learned. Accuracy is key.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Manage projects from inception through closure, handling changes, risks, and delivering results according to defined project charters.
  • Collaborate with team members, tracking activities against schedules and communicating progress.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, working proactively with customers and their teams.
  • Document project activities accurately, including project plans, communication plans, resources, status reports, change requests, RAID logs and lessons learned.
  • Delivering defined projects. Monitoring project health and provide reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Providing details project plans and associated project artefacts, tracking deliverables and ensure timely completion and managing stakeholder communications.
  • Adopting agreed project management processes, tools and standards.
  • Managing project financial budgeting and procurement.
  • Building project team cohesion and delivering quality work.
  • Ensure projects adhere to budgets, raising issues as needed.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

You have a track record of success in in managing multiple projects and programs of varying sizes complexities budgets and deliverables within a commercial environment. You have experience speaking in front of executives and senior management. Ideally you have experience with delivering Cybersecurity, IT solutions or airline industry solutions provider. You have the ability to drive project initiatives that meet customer needs in a fast-paced environment. Success requires attention to detail, time sensitivity, influencing skills, and teamwork. You have a track record of managing multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities. Experience speaking before executives and senior management is essential. Ideally, you have experience in delivering cybersecurity projects, IT solutions or airline industry providers.
