We're looking for talented Project Managers, ideally with consultancy experience to join us at Expleo. This client facing role involves leading a project within an exciting new programme focusing on Software Development activity.
The successful candidate will be able to work without close supervision, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders, internal and external teams. The programme will follow a Waterfall process working with partners that may code using Agile, so solid experience of working with both methodologies is required.
Expleo works across multiple clients and industries so there’s an expectation that you will contribute to the continued growth of the Project, Programme and Agile Practice as time allows.

Responsibilities
- Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
- RAID Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
- Finance Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Reporting: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Quality Management: Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Desirable Certifications: MAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2
- Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle.
- The ability to understand and construct system & data integrations
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies
- Strong understanding of Agile (Kanban & Scrum)
- Experience of working with Programme and Project managers in large deployments
- Microsoft Project
- People management skills – the ability to lead and focus teams in complex projects
- Strong self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
- Desire to continue to build IT domain knowledge– tools, applications, platforms
- Desire to embrace and work withing new industries
- Knowledge of client/server architecture, object-oriented design/development, and package implementation
- Experience in Project management is essential
- Experience of working within a structured SDLC
- Successful history of successfully releasing software products into On Prem and/or Cloud environments (AWS experience is desirable)
- Automotive experience is desirable
- Experience of leading large scale systems development projects, involving business process and change, organisation change, and multiple large-scale technology components
- Experience leading Waterfall & Agile Scrum projects
- Successful experience in leading IT deployments
- The expectation is that you will be able to work on client site in Buckinghamshire 1-2 days per week or as the programme requires.
- Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate with clients.
