JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Manager, Project Engineer, Sales, Service : M and E Capital Equipment , Industrial
This is a customer facing Project Manager role : handling projects from single units to full turn:key lines of packaging equipment : predominantly to the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.
Taking on projects after a thorough handover from the sales team, youll take ownership until installation, commissioning, validation and beyond. Projects will include visiting customer sites initially for an engineering clarification on project requirements and identifying any potential bottlenecks, plus running logistics and support as the hub between external and internal stakeholders (including principals across Europe and sales / engineering departments).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Manager, Project Engineer, Sales, Service : M and E Capital Equipment , Industrial
A Project management of several projects of varying lengths, value and complexity
A Regular visits to clients across the UK throughout project life cycles
A Ownership of project budgets and milestones
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Project Manager, Project Engineer, Sales, Service : M and E Capital Equipment , Industrial
A You will either be an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer with project management skills and experience of working on M and E capital equipment projects
A Youve got hands on engineering experience.
A You have strong customer:facing, logistics and organisational skills
A Happy managing several concurrent projects of various sizes
A MUST be commutable to the Hereford site
You will also most probably have an engineering qualification. Any exposure to process and packaging manufacturing equipment would be an obvious advantage.
The Company
Were a UK based distributor, value added systems integrator providing sales and service of packaging and processing machines into the food, beverage, pet, chemical, personal care, home care and automotive industries. Were also growing and need an addition Project Manager to take on these key projects.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Project Engineer, Project Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Service Manager, Service Engineer, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Lead Engineer, Technical Manager, M and E, Mechanical and Electrical, Multi:Sklilled Engineer, Industrial Capital Equipment, PPMA, Automate UK, Packaging Machinery, Process Equipment, Cap Kit.
