This role supports the Programme Manager in successful delivery of the Transition Management phase of the GFR (Goods for Resale) programme which is the key priority programme in the Finance Change portfolio .

The role proactively works with the programme team to provide accurate and timely management and reporting to stakeholders and sponsors of the programme during this key phase.

You will be responsible for

  • Supports the Programme Manager and the Technology team to develop high level and detailed plans for Transition Management phase of the programme based on an agreed Transition Approach
  • Supports the Programme Manager to drive this key phase of the project lifecycle ensuring on time adherence to programme governance critical at this stage
  • Leads the Transition Management reporting, closely tracking progress to ensure accurate status reporting, managing updates against the plans and reporting these for regular programme updates to various stakeholder groups including the programme Steering Committee
  • Drive continuous improvement in the Transition Management Playbook including reporting standards, making sure the reporting is fit for purpose and appropriate to the change being deployed
  • Actively engaging with the teams in the programme to understand, resolve and/or escalate risks and issues and wider workstream dependencies that impact Transition
  • Support the Programme manager to ensure Go/No Go and Hypercare exit criteria are well defined and agreed with all key stakeholders with clear ownership assigned and then track criteria through to closure
  • Adhere to planning and reporting standards and provide coaching where needed to ensure they are met
  • Coordinating different programme meetings, workshops and other senior meetings required to deliver the Transition Management phase, taking actions and tracking to closure
  • Tailoring content to meet needs of different audiences

You will need

  • Previous Project management experience including development of detailed plans, tracking of key deliverables, continuous improvement, reporting etc
  • Solid understanding of project process, standards and governance -
  • Prior experience working within projects heavily aligned with Technology
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good influencing skills
  • Organisation skills (including time management)
  • Data analysis and report preparation with great attention to detail
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused, able to interact and communicate at all levels
