About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to join the PentenAmio team and support the continued growth of our business. This role sits within our Project Delivery team, which is responsible for leading customer-funded research and development projects across cyber security, engineering, and innovation domains.
As Project Manager, you will oversee multi-disciplinary project teams and be responsible for the planning, financial tracking, risk management, and delivery of outcomes aligned to both customer and internal expectations.
Typical activities include:
- Scoping new projects and working with technical leads to ensure optimal delivery.
- Liaising directly with customers to capture requirements and translate them into delivery plans.
- Conducting regular project reviews to monitor progress against schedules and deliverables.
- Leading stakeholder engagement and supporting communications across internal and external teams.
- Producing evidence-based monthly project reports and maintaining project documentation.
- Managing resources and contributing to the resource demand plan.
- Supporting proposal development, bids, and internal R&D planning.
- Collaborating with other teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in project delivery, preferably in engineering or cyber security environments.
- Experience managing multi-disciplined technical teams and delivering to complex requirements.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, Jira, and backlog management.
- APMP or PRINCE2 qualification is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.
- Able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executive leadership.
- Customer-focused with an adaptive and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in supplier management, requirements capture, and reporting.
- Technical background or understanding of cyber/engineering environments is desirable.
- Ability to lead with integrity and foster positive team dynamics.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Demonstrate relevant experience in managing technical or cyber-related projects, and;
- Be a British citizen, and;
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - DV clearance.
